Nice tiny horn with a domed plug measures about 1 and 1/2 by 2 inches, held with 3 wooden pins, Measures about 6 inches long with a 3/16" opening. A nice small horn.

Six iron tacks hold the 1 inch butt plug in this small horn, which is about 6 inches long with a broken tip. Still, it's about 200 years old.

A grease horn, which would swing under the axle of a wagon or coach, and provide lubrication for the wheels. Has a great forged iron band and one link. It measures 3 and 1/2 by 4 and 1/4 inches and is about 15 inches long. Old, with some repair work.

This is a matched pair of grease horns with a great period repair and forged ironware and worked tips!! This pair has it all. Must have hung below someone important. Horns measure about 3 and 1/2 inches by about 17 inches long. Each has 11 inches of forged chain and ends in a forged suspension hook. One plug has a butt repair with two iron staples. UNIQUE!

Sweet little thin scraped horn, slightly domed plug of 1 and 1/2 inches with a wood screw. Seven nails in the very thin plug. 5 and 1/2 inches long with a nicely carved spout missing a chip on the bottom side. A 5/16 th inch hole in the spout.

A great little horn, scraped thin with a plug domed a bit with a forged copper nail in the center. Plug is held with 8 nails, and is about 1 and 3/4 inches. Horn measures 5 and 1/2 inches long. Spout is 1/4 inch.

A smallish horn, inscribed "WM" with the date 1787 on it . Scraped thin with 1/8 inch butt plugs held with 8 tiny brass pins. 1 and 3/4 base and about 6 and 1/2 inches long.

A small horn saved from the bugs. Has a flat plug about 2 inches across with 5 wood pins and a forged nail in the butt. Slight curve, about 6 inches long. Very white with a small 3/16 spout opening.

Wooden Snuffbox. What a gem! Carved from burl wood, with either scraped horn or turtle shell liner. 2 1/2 by 1 1/2 by 5/8 thick. Probably 1750-1790 in style. Hinge works great, lid fits well. Useable! $250.00 Shown on page 246 in the Collector's Illustrated Encyclopedia of the American Revolution, but not horn, Burl.
